What We Do

Established in 1999, we are landscape architects and environmental consultants working collaboratively to develop integrated solutions for the benefit of our clients, our communities and our environment.

Our inhouse knowledge, expertise, experience and our capacity to implement our services, either independently or in any combination, is what sets us apart.

We are driven by curiosity, science, creativity, design, sustainable thinking and building strong working and social relationships to best understand and enhance the natural and built environments in which we live and work and to exceed client expectations and deliver exceptional project outcomes.

Our suite of integrated services differentiates us and adds value to our expansive outlook and an embedded ability to maximise project interaction, opportunity and outcomes; beyond that which each of our service disciplines may individually attain.

We are passionate about our work and our collaborative thinking inspires us to deliver innovative and sustainable outcomes. We focus on delivering the best holistic solutions and responses possible, by integrating science and design.

Landscape Architecture

Our extensive company and staff experience exists across a diverse range of locations and environments. We provide fresh, innovative and practical design approaches to address the many competing aspects of the modern world and the design process both within and outside of the usual scope of landscape architecture. Our landscape staff benefit immeasurably from greater understanding and appreciation gained from our internal environmental science streams.

Environmental Consulting

Our experienced specialist team ensure a targeted focus on all of our environmental consulting practice service streams. This structure enables us to provide pragmatic, deliverable and outcomes-based advice and services to our clients. We are proficient in meeting the challenges of a wide variety of regulatory frameworks. Our environmental team gain great insight into the eventual delivery model gain by liaison with our landscape team.

Value Add

Environmental consulting and landscape architecture have a natural synergy. Our joint discipline service model is deliberately intended to realise integrated efficiencies in opportunity, approach and delivery, which results in time and cost savings for our clients and improved project and environmental outcomes. Emerge staff enhance their careers via wider knowledge, skills, understanding and appreciation influenced by the allied service streams within our business.

Our range of cost-effective integrated service streams are no accident – they have all been purposely selected, organised and developed to create greater value to our clients, our projects and to our teams careers and skillsets.

Our allied services have no natural break point between them – with each service’s knowledge and experience complimenting and expanding all others.

Our clients may select one service, any combination of services, or all of our services to best suit each project’s individual needs and circumstances.

Emerge has project experience across Australia, tailoring our integrated approach to the various regions in which we work.

We work with our clients to provide site-responsive, efficient and award-winning projects. We pride ourselves on the ability to assess and successfully respond to local character and local site conditions in creating places of character, substance and broader benefit.

Our results are driven by a careful and considered research and a design approach that distils a local sense of place combined with an understanding of the physical influences of local climate, topography and soils.

flags

We acknowledge the traditional custodians of country in all of the regions in which we work.   We recognise their continuing connection to land, sea, community and culture.   We pay our respects to elders past, present and emerging.
